Charlie Hicks
Greengrocer extraordinaire, broadcaster and supplier of veg to the stars.
Charlie Hicks runs a Bristol based supply company delivering fruit and vegetables to some of the better hotels and restaurants across the south west and south Wales (including the Hardwick and The Walnut Tree). Charlie has been a greengrocer all his adult life following a family tradition that spans five generations. For over thirty years he worked in and out of Covent Garden Market - with a four year spell in Rungis – providing produce for many of the UK's best restaurants and hotels. He also co-presented BBC Radio 4's cult hit 'Veg Talk' for seven years and made a couple of truly dreadful television series.
