Allt Yr Ynys Country House Hotel

The Allt Yr Ynys (pronounced 'alt-ur-inis') is centred on a beautifully preserved mediaeval 16th Century manor house. Many original features remain in the house, including moulded ceilings, oak panelling and beams, and a 16th Century 4-poster bed in the Jacobean Suite. The Angel Hotel, Abergavenny

Once a private home built in the 1800's, The Angel Hotel became one of the great coaching inns on the London to Fishguard road. Located in the centre of Abergavenny, The Angel has 29 en-suite guestrooms. Prego Monmouth

Great food and accommodation in the heart of Monmouth... Newly opened restaurant Bistro Prego offers mouthwatering cuisine and has eight rooms with en-suite bathrooms, Sky TV and all this right in the heart of Monmouth's old town.

Bistro Prego opened at the turn of 2006/2007 and offers not only an excellent range of fine food and wine but also eight well-appointed rooms. For these reasons alone it would be a welcome addition to the town. Add in the fact that Prego's head chef, Steve Robbins, has worked in three previous establishments with culinary legend Franco Taruschio (former owner of The Walnut Tree near Abergavenny) and that Prego itself now counts Franco as a consultant, and you have added in some serious pedigree to this new Monmouth eatery. The Crown at Whitebrook

The Crown at Whitebrook is one of only two restaurants in Wales to hold a Michelin Star.  It is a romantic auberge set in three acres of gardens at Whitebrook, a small village just 5 miles from Monmouth and one mile from the River Wye.

The restaurant is in the seventeenth century part of the building. The menu takes its influence from classical French methods and combines it modern aspects to produce delightfully original dishes.
