In residence at The Art Shop, Kitchen Antics and Appliances with Spread, their own brand of food installations.

Come and browse our ceramics stall outside the shop and leave your purchases at our ceramic crèche to pick up at a later time.

A Feast for the Eye - exhibition
Special ingredients: platters, plates, jugs and cups, with slips and glazes to enhance your food. Upstairs, A Feast for the Eye continues with commissioned works- etchings, lino/wood blocks, paintings & drawings by selected artists.

Basil Jones' exhibits (Abergavenny Museum)Culinary Exhibits
Abergavenny Museum tells the story of this historic market town. Popular displays include Basil Jones’ Grocery Store and a Victorian Welsh Kitchen. Features include an Activity Room for Children. At certain times we offer workshops led by museum staff (Please contact us before your visit to find out about forthcoming workshops). Purchase a souvenir of your visit from our well-stocked gift shop.

MULBERRY HOUSE/TY'R MORWYDD ENVIRONMENTAL STUDY CENTRE

10.00am – 4.00pm both days Mulberry House, Pen-y-pound
Really Wild Food – Wild Food Café, Demos & Displays

Back by popular demand the Wild Food Café on Pen-y-pound (5 mins town centre) will offer a selection of food and drink for the curious visitor to sample. Seating available inside or in the gardens. Call in and view the range of wild food displays, wild food and drink-making demonstrations, outdoor trails for children, etc. Bushcraft Demonstrations in the orchard including cooking pits, shelter building, ponassing wild salmon, and tastings of wild foraged foods.

Mulberry House/Ty’r Morwydd Environmental Study Centre & Residential Hostel is situated at The Old Convent on Pen-y-pound, 5 mins walk from Abergavenny Town Centre. Limited free car-parking.

Made in Monmouthshire Market
Mingle in the Lewis Lane market and meet the county’s artists, makers and food producers and pick up some traditionally handcrafted products and produce. Pop into the neighbouring businesses and feast on some Made in Monmouthshire menus and take home a unique memento. www.mim.adventa.org.uk

The team at La Brasseria (The Stables, Lewis Lane) will be serving great food all weekend and are joining in the festival atmosphere with bands playing at lunchtime on Saturday & Sunday. Barbecue (weather-permitting) as well as a la carte menu in the evening.

FLOWER FESTIVAL

Saturday: 9.30am - 6.00 pm & Sunday: 11.30 am - 5.30 pm

Let all the world in every corner sing, my God and King!

We invite you to join our Harvest Festival celebrations, when our Flower Festival will be portraying songs of Praise and Worship.

Enjoy the beauty of the floral arrangements, the refreshments provided in the Hall and some peace, quiet and fellowship in the Chapel. Any profits will go to Christian Aid. All are welcome to our Harvest Festival Service on Sunday morning at 10.30am and Harvest Praise at 6.00pm. Free entry.

 

Songs of Festival Praise

Join the choir in singing songs of festival praise as requested by visitors and our regular congregation.
