Tutored Tasting with Sally Butcher and Jamshid Golshan Ebrahimi

Tickets: £7.00

Sponsored by J Straker Chadwick & Sons (www.strakerchadwick.co.uk)

A sampling of foodstuffs from Persepolis, the extraordinary Middle Eastern emporium in Peckham. For 14 years Sally and husband Jamshid have imported the finest foods from the Middle East - rice, saffron, dried fruits, Persian sweets and many others - sourced by Jamshid’s father through his network of contacts in Iran. Sally’s acute insights into domestic life in Iran, hilarious anecdotes about importing from the ‘axis of evil’, and wonderful recipes are collected in her first book, Persia in Peckham.
